Our residents were in a “New York State of Mind” as they enjoyed the sights and sounds of New York City. Shirley who was also celebrating her 96th birthday was serenaded by waiters and on lookers singing happy birthday as we dined al fresco at La Nonna Restuarant in little Italy 🇮🇹
Residents reminisced about the years when they walked these streets to go to work or just enjoying their youth. Last stop was Brooklyn Bridge and a walk to the first tower. What a beautiful day we had!
