Aid and Attendance

Aid and Attendance

A Federally Funded Pension Program

A program created by the Department of Veterans Affairs for wartime veterans and their surviving spouses. This program helps make assisted living an affordable option to many seniors who may have thought it was not possible. You and your spouse may be eligible for up to $2,642 to supplement the monthly cost of assisted living; $2,229 for a single veteran and $1,432 for a surviving spouse. Aid and Attendance is a mandatory pension and is not subject to discretionary federal budget cuts. For more information about Aid and Attendance, or to find out about our Free Upcoming Aid & Attendance Seminar schedule, feel free to contact our Veteran Liaison at veteraninfo@thearborsliving.com. He is here to help guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
