November was quite the month! We enjoyed the fall weather and are looking forward to the winter months. We had some pretty great events at each of our five Arbors Assisted Living communities. Here are a few events that we had a blast at this month:

At The Arbors at Bohemia Grand Friends, Boy Scout Troop 438 hosted a luncheon for our veterans and invited The Arbors at Islandia West & East veterans to attend. 19 restaurants donated meals for all the veterans to enjoy. The Troop, along with the Cub Scouts, served the meal to all and spent time with them. The Scouts aired the picture “Mr. Roberts,” which was a hit!

We collected hats, scarves, and gloves for our veterans throughout the entire month. We are so glad we got to share the warmth during the month of November!

Taste of the Arbors Open House, our favorite event of the year, took place during November! Our executive chefs presented their delicious culinary designs and visitors got to take home a freshly baked pie. Yum!
