June was a “FUN-TASTIC month! Here are some highlights of our favorite moments at The Arbors.
Father’s Day
Just a few snapshots celebrating some of the incredible men at The Arbors at Hauppauge. Our wonderful chefs made a delicious BBQ to honor the fathers in our community on a gorgeous day. We love and appreciate every single one of you!
Beach Day
Did someone say Beach Day? Well our beautiful women from The Arbors at Hauppauge enjoyed some fun in the sun at Sunken Meadow. The ladies enjoyed the fresh air, strolling the boardwalk and getting their feet wet. They also had a fantastic lunch provided by our wonderful chefs. Who doesn’t love a good day at the beach with good friends? We sure do!
Flag Day
Raymond Bush and William Fuchs joined our residents at The Arbors at Islandia West from VFW Post 12144 Islandia. We held a flag folding ceremony, and with each fold was an explanation of its meaning. A touching and beautiful ceremony in honor of Flag Day. Our resident Doug presented our Recreation Director Michelle with the American Flag. What an honor!
Cruise Week
Cruise Week at The Arbors Islandia was a success and our residents enjoyed every excursion! We escaped to the beautiful island of Hawaii where residents enjoyed tropical refreshments and appetizers. Followed by a Captain’s dinner with our wonderful Executive Directors: Captain Ben & Captain Jackie. Fun was had by all!
Senior Prom!
Our beautiful women and handsome gentlemen at The Arbors at Westbury celebrated their annual Senior Senior Prom this month! Everyone was well-dressed for this special occasion. The day was filled with plenty of dancing, delicious food, and Fabulous SMILES! Our Prom King Sam and Prom Queen Eileen also known as “Honey” were crowned for the evening. Wonderful memories with incredible friends!
Now that July has officially started, we are looking forward to having more cool summer fun!
