The Arbors at Islandia East started their new monthly Gourmet Dinner at “Chez Arbors with Chef Rachel and Chef Derek,” starting with French onion soup, then moving onto the main course of steak, lobster tail, potato duchess and grilled asparagus with crème brulee for dessert. Held in the private dining room for about 8 residents each month, this special treat was enjoyed and appreciated by the first group of residents. Each month will be an opportunity for different residents to experience the elegant evening dinner party.
