Aid & Attendance Right now
But there is something you DO need to do NOW
File a 21-0966 form with the VA. This form is an intent to file form, which saves the date for any future filing. Instead of losing months, you will lock in a date for the month
in which you submit the form.
To get the form, go to
https://www.vba.va.gov/pubs/forms/VBA-21-0966-ARE.pdf or
www.va.gov, on the bottom of the page click “Find a VA Form” Type in form number 21-0966. When the form is completed, fax it to 844-655-1604.
