Love Continues for Couples at The Arbors

You have reached a time in your life where you need help with some things, and it is starting to take it’s toll on your spouse. The thought of living apart after so many years of marriage would be heartbreaking for any couple.

You can still live together, get the help you each need, and stop worrying about your medications, bills, house maintenance; and enjoy life to the fullest.

Teenage sweethearts Joan and Bill were faced with the need for some help and an easier life and love that they have found peace of mind at The Arbors at Hauppauge. Thankful for their blessings, they have made new friends, have the opportunity to enjoy recreational activities together, without any worries. They love the fact that there is no cleaning or laundry to do. “Life is what you make of it, and we LOVE it here.” says Joan.  Their motto to a happy marriage “Never go to bed angry.” It seems to have worked for this sweet couple happily married for 69 years!!!

Lou and Frances have made new friends, have the opportunity to expand their horizons with recreational activities either together or separately, without any worries; it’s all at their fingertips.

Bill and Marilyn met as teenagers in Queens, spending their weekends at their church gatherings and dances. World War II Navy Veteran Bill was very handy, building their house where they lived for 70 years in West Islip. Talented artist Marilyn enjoyed years of creativity through her work and spare time whether it was with paint or knitting. Both used their leisure time sailing, skiing and volunteering for their local church.
