Hear how much Kitty loves living at The Arbors directly from her and her daughter Karen.

Living with her daughter was not an option for Kitty, since she would be alone all day while her daughter works. She prefers being with friends all day staying busy since she is a people person. “Staying home alone, I don’t think that’s good for anyone” says Kitty.

Kitty has been living at The Arbors at Hauppauge for over 3 years and is very involved in activities from daily exercise classes to cards, dancing, games, just about everything. A self-professed people person, Kitty truly enjoys the company of others around her, so takes every opportunity to join in on all the daily activities.

Karen says “I’m happy because she is happy, It’s all about my mom living in a place where she has fun.”  Having peace of mind knowing that your parent is well cared for is priceless.

Hearing directly from our residents about how The Arbors is their home and how happy they are is music to our ears.  “This is home to me, I love it” says Kitty “I wouldn’t go any other place.”
