The Mystery of How Some People Age So Graciously

The Mystery of How Some People Age So Graciously
May 12, 2017
Have you ever looked at someone and thought “wow, they look amazing for their age,” and you wonder how they did it? Yes, genetics do play a part in how you age, but there are certain things you can do to slow down the aging process. The mystery has been solved and in order to age gracefully, you should…
Keep It Moving
Exercising on a regular basis is one of the best things you can do for your body. You will decrease your risk of developing multiple diseases and conditions, lose excess weight, decrease stress and depression, while improving your strength and stamina. Regular exercise will genuinely make you feel younger on the inside as well as the outside! Generally, anything that’s good for your body is also good for your skin! So keep on jogging, going to aerobics classes, and lifting those weights!
Handle Your Hands
Most people spend a majority of their skincare routine focusing on their face. You should focus a good portion of your time here because your face receives the most sun exposure. However, you should also spend some time on your hands as they receive just as much sun exposure as the face does. After you’re done using retinoid and your anti-aging creams on your face, rub some in on your hands so you can prevent brown spots and wrinkles.
Get Plenty of Sleep
If you’re not getting the recommended seven to eight hours of sleep per night, you’re doing more harm to your body than you think. On the surface level, a lack of sleep will increase your chances of developing wrinkles and other visible signs of aging. One of the mains reasons for this (other than obvious health effects) is because your skin will have a tougher time recovering from UV light exposure. Too much exposure to UV light can have a disastrous effect on skin, thus making a person looking older than they are.
There are certain people that age ever so slowly, and they are usually doing all of these anti-aging rituals. For other useful tips and information, visit our blog!
