The Arbors at Islandia enjoyed the music of the 50’s with their annual Sock Hop. Some of the songs performed by Hank Aarts included Charlie Brown, The Twist, A Teenager in Love and Are You Lonesome Tonight. Residents enjoyed ice cream sodas and French fries bringing back memories of time spent at the local soda fountain.
