April was a fun-filled month of spring activities! Our residents certainly kept busy all month long!
Passover
Our residents enjoyed Passover with Rabbi Moss and Rabbi Rosenthal. Our chefs prepared seder plates, we sang Dayenu and learned the importance of keeping traditions alive!
Easter Sunday
The residents at The Arbors in Hauppauge had a fun-filled Easter Sunday! We were all smiles and egg-cited to celebrate with family and friends. Everyone had an opportunity to take pictures with the Easter bunny, participate in our egg hunt, enjoy live entertainment and do a little crafting!
A Trip to Paris
Our residents from The Arbors at Islandia East held their 2nd annual April in Paris Art Show. Residents and family members joined in a sip and paint art class while others enjoyed the piano music and vocalist singing French songs. Afterwards, everyone walked around the lobby to look at the displays of our Resident artist’s work. Some even got into the theme and donned a French beret!! What a wonderful afternoon!
